This version is designed for all fire service personnel.

An inherent risk that comes with firefighting operations is heat-related illness. Firefighters work in protective clothing that is designed to protect them from the heat of a fire. However, this protection also reduces the ability to dissipate body heat. The goal of this course is to give fire service personnel an overview of heat-related illnesses, including how to recognize symptoms and prevent them from occurring.
